Our mission partners

St. John’s is a proprietary chapel of the Church of England, within the Edmonton Area of the Diocese of London.  We receive oversight from both the Bishop of Edmonton and the Bishop of Ebbsfleet, and work in close partnership with a number of local Anglican evangelical churches in the area.  We also partner and help support a number of churches and organisations elsewhere.

Our current Mission Partners are:

  1. John Paul and Sue Aranzulla via CrosslinksJP is pastor of Forte Torre Evangelical Church in Bologna, Italy.
  2. David and Ruth Lowry via Wycliffe Bible TranslatorsDavid translates scriptures into the Karon language in Dakar, Senegal.
  3. Stephen and Deborah Pacht: the Pachts work to further the gospel among Jewish people in Geneva, Switzerland, in partnership with WEC International.  The heart of their work is to share the gospel with Jewish people individually or in small group bible studies.  
  4. Paul and Jill Jump via St Clement’s Church, Manchester: our giving goes to support the church’s growing youth ministry in a deprived community. 
  5. John and Jenny Miller via Crosslinks: John is a senior lecturer at Johannesburg Bible College (JBC), South AfricaJBC is an interdenominational college offering men and women practical training in understanding and teaching the Bible. 
  6. Katsutoshi and Yukiko Shimizu via Japan Christian Link: the Shimizus work in strategic gospel ministry among Japanese expatriates in London.
  7. London City Mission: we support LCM’s ministry among the vulnerable homeless street population in Kings Cross and Camden, offering spiritual, relational and practical support.
  8. Operation Mobilisation: we support the ministry of Logos Hope ship; renovating the icafe, a central place on the ship where many conversations happen with locals and crew.
  9. Oak Hill Theological College, London: we provide support towards the cost of training of future evangelical ministers and leaders.
  10. Open Doors: we support their general ministry to provide help and support where the needs are greatest among the persecuted Christians worldwide.
  11. Mark and Ruth Smith: Mark is the minister of three rural Church of Ireland churches in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan.
  12. Geoff Hammond working with Josiah Venture to disciple and train young adults alongside local churches in the Ústí nad Labem region, Czech Republic.

We also support or have links with a number of other ministries, including:

Renew – a network of churches working together locally, regionally, and nationally to pioneer, establish, and secure healthy local Anglican churches.

Growing Young Disciples – helping local churches thrive in their crucial task of nurturing the next generation for the glory of the Lord Jesus.

Proclamation Trust – training preachers and teachers in faithful exposition of the Bible, including through the Cornhill Training Course.

Church Society – a fellowship contending to reform and renew the Church of England in biblical faith.

9:38 – helping local churches raise gospel workers by resourcing church leaders, supporting those exploring gospel work and encouraging trainees.

UCCF – helping students reach students with the good news of Jesus.
