Updated on 25th February 2022: the Government is removing remaining domestic restrictions in England but continues to suggest that people wear face coverings in indoor public spaces while case numbers continue to be high. We therefore suggest that those not exempt consider wearing a face covering, particularly during our more crowded morning service, until numbers of cases in the community drop to lower levels. Even though we now know that the omicron variant is mild for many people, we have a significant number of healthcare workers in particular who are facing pressures of staff shortages due to covid, and are understandably more anxious than some about catching it themselves.
Please exercise the freedom that we have in love and consideration for others, particularly when in more crowded situations and when choosing where to sit and how you interact with others. Our balcony and some more distanced seating at the back of the building remain available for those who would appreciate more space. Disposable face coverings are available on the welcome table in the entrance hall. Please also continue to use the hand sanitiser placed around the building.
Other activities such as our youth clubs will have their own arrangements according to the activities involved.
