New Rotas Out Now!
Many thanks to everyone who helps serve week by week – we really couldn’t do it without you!  The new rotas for the Easter Term are out now (hard copy available at the back of church by the lift).  Please do check every column and put the dates in your diary – as usual, if you can’t make a specific date, please do try and arrange a swap in the first instance and let the Office know!

Mission Partner Update – the Miller Family (Johannesburg, S Africa)
Latest prayer points & news from the Millers:

“Many thanks for your prayers.  We are very grateful for your continued support and encouragement.  We have now all started our Christmas break.  John has hugely enjoyed his first few months of teaching at JBC and is looking forward to his first full year.  Before student term begins he is organising a training conference for those involved in teaching at similar centres across Africa.  Visas permitting, we hope there will be nearly 40 trainers from 12 centres from 7 different countries gathering in Johannesburg.  Jenny and the boys have enjoyed two play-dates this week with other families in Johannesburg – making friends has been quite slow and we are thankful for some progress.  The boys are excited about Christmas, if unsure about what it will be like in the sunshine!

Thanks:
– For helpful preparation time for next year’s classes
– For a lovely visit from John’s parents which has helped the boys feel a bit more settled
– For some possible friendships for the boys emerging

Pray:
– For a restful Christmas break and good family time after a busy term
– For a really useful time of encouragement, equipping and fellowship amongst the trainers at the Training the Trainers Conference (21-24 January) and for all the logistics and visas to go smoothly
– For growing friendships for Jenny and the boys

We hope you have a joyful Christmas and blessed New Year.

Love in Christ – John and Jenny”
