Would you like to be baptised and/or confirmed?
If so, please contact Tom Watts or David Rue if you would like to be baptised, reaffirm your baptismal vows if you were baptised as a baby, or be confirmed.

The World We All Want (7:30pm on Wednesdays 30th January, 13th February, and 13th, 20th & 27th March) 
A course that takes people through the message of the whole Bible and shows the way to the world we all want – a world of security, plenty and friendship.  It runs alongside Wednesday Central with a meal at 7:30pm and starting at 8:00pm.  It is based on a DVD series of talks, with Bible study, group discussion, and plenty of time for questions.  More details here

Lunar New Year Dinner (starting at 5:00pm, Saturday 9th February)
A bring & share dinner plus a short evangelistic talk – a fun evening for everyone, especially for non-christian friends who celebrate the Lunar New Year.  Flyers/invites available at the back of church.

Training Morning (9:30am to 12:30pm, Saturday 16th March) 
On Saturday 16th March we have a morning on ‘Jewish objections and Christian obstacles in sharing our faith with Jewish friends’ (open to all).  This will be led by Jews for Jesus missionaries, including our mission partners from Geneva Stephen and Deborah Pacht.  The morning will end with an optional bring-your-own lunch together.

New Women’s Worker/Associate Minister for Women post at St John’s (closing date for applications Friday, 15th February)
St John’s is now advertising for a women’s worker.  Details are available on our website – please contact Tom Watts to find out more.

Chalk Farm Foodbank 
We have a box at the back of church for anyone who wants to contribute.  Urgent needs this week are: tinned tomatoes, tinned fruit, tinned meat e.g. Fray Bentos pies, chicken in sauce, corned beef, ham, long life (UHT) milk, deodorant, toothpaste, coffee, and rice.  Please ensure that everything is in date otherwise we can’t donate it.
